Ce tube tant venu dans un aquarium pr t l emploi, je l ai essay quelques temps mais remplac ensuite sans regret. Four 36 watt with half the bulbs being "Flora Glo" (2800 K 700N ) and half being 10000K bulbs has worked well for me. Flora- I was thinking that (about trying 2- 6500K') right after I posted. This time, pearling was considerably more on most of the plants, even the Java ferns. saw them at petsmart and wanted to see if they are good bulbs or not. I think that would give good lighting and definitely minimize algae growth.

I believe there are only approximately 10 of these uniquely shaped glass aquariums in the area- Half-moon (not bow-front!) Hagen 76-gallon aquarium (excellent condition- no scratches)- Tank measures 45 inches long by 23 inches deep.

Hagen do state the Aqua-Glo as a pro-photosynthesis tube, and I guess that. OR you could keep the light the way you have it and start experimenting with your CO2. The second set-up was 1 Life-Glo, and 1 Aqua-Glo for the same periods. I ve used Floraglo lights in planted tanks and they seem to work pretty well. fluorescent light bulbs: 3 X Life-Glo 2 ($29.78 ea= $89.34) (also includes two new bulbs in use) 2 X Power-Glo ($26.65 ea= $53.30) 1 X Flora-Glo ($24.84) Value of over $3 625. Hagen, Flora-glo, 85, 1090 lumens, 30 W. adapt comme le FLora-Glo chez le m me fabricant).
